用途

  • Quotation processing is the first stage of this business process. In this scenario, the process isdemonstrated using a configurable material as an example. The scenario is triggered when awritten request for a quotation for a configurable material is received from acustomer. A quotation is then created in the SAP system in response to thecustomer's RFQ.
  • The customer requests a technical change to the quotation and afollow-on quotation is created. The customer then requests a price change forwhich the follow-on quotation is adapted. Finally, the customer accepts thelast follow-on quotation and a referenced sales order is created. This scenariodescribes a business process, which is typical for companies which aremanufacturersof products with variants

Make-to-Order Quotation Processing withVariant Pricing

  • Quotation processing is the first stage of the whole business process. In thisscenario, the process is demonstrated using a configurable material as anexample.
  • Thescenario is triggered when a written request for a quotation for a configurablemateriel is received from a customer. A quotation is then created in the SAPsystem in response to the customer's RFQ. The customer requests a technicalchange and a follow-on quotation is created with reference to the originalquotation.
  • Thecustomer then requests a price change for which the follow-on quotation isadapted. Finally, the customer accepts the last follow-on quotation and areferenced sales order is created.
