HDR技术

优点

缺点

Dolby VisionTM

- 12-bit colors- Luminance up to 10000 nits (4000 nits current target) - future proof- Dynamic Metadata(per scene) - SMPTE ST 2094-10- Dual Layer DV: Backward compatibility with legacy SCR TVs and STB- Early Adoption by TV mannufacturers- Support for licensed DV product (SDK, docs, ref, code, etc.)

- Dolby Commercial License required- Single Layer DV: No backward compatibility with legacy SDR TVs and STB- Not appropriate for live content

HDR10

- Royalty free- Early adoption by TV manufacturers- Can be derived from Dobly Vision mezzanine files- Can be used for live and pre-recorded contents

- Lack of Dynamic Metadata (per scene)- 10-bit colors- Luminance up to 4000 nits (1000 nits current target)

HLG

- License not required- No Metadata required- Backward compatibility with SDR- Can be used for live and pre-recorded content, Live is a target

- HLG 1000 nits limit (OK for today, may not be future proof for years to come)- 10-bit colors

HRD10+

- Royalty free- Dynamic Metadata (scene based) - SMPTE ST 2094-40

- Administrative free required (even thought there is no formal royalties)- Late introduction- Requires additional HDR10+ metadata creation (complicates existing workflow based on DV/HDR10)- 10-bit colors- Luminance up to 4000 nits (1000 nits current target)
