A grinder is a poker player who plays tight, low-risk poker with the intention of making a small but steady profit. Simply speaking, they “grind” away until reaching their goal. Grinders tend to shy away from both making aggressive moves and combating aggressive opponents in favor of making the safe play. Unlike most players who look to make as much money from each individual hand as possible, grinders are comfortable with winning small pots and rarely, if ever, play for high stakes.

Definition of the term Grinder in the game of poker"Grinder" is also used to refer to players who treat poker like a job (a “daily grind”) and not a game. This type of player plays often and consistently until they reach whatever monetary goal they’ve set for themselves, usually just enough to sustain a comfortable living.

A true grinder will throw away a great hand without a second though, which requires not only patience but a great deal of confidence in their ability to read opponents.

The most famous “grinder” in poker is professional Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi. While not a true grinder, Mizrachi embodies the grinder spirit with his consistent playing style and his determination. That determination paid off when he finished fifth in the Main Event of the 2010 World Series of Poker.

1、同花顺游戏使用28张扑克牌，取黑桃、红桃、草花、方片四种花色的8、9、10、J、Q、K、A进行游戏，游戏人数可为2到5人。

2、同花顺＞铁支＞葫芦＞同花＞顺子＞三条＞二对＞对子＞散牌。

3、数字比较：A＞K＞Q＞J＞10＞9＞8。

4、花色比较：黑桃＞红桃＞草花＞方片。

5、同花顺：同一种花色的顺子，比如全部是黑桃的A,K,Q,J,10。但8和A之间不算顺子。大家都是同花顺，比较最大一张牌的大小，如果大小还一样就比较这张牌的花色。

6、铁支：有四张同样大小的牌。大家都是铁支，比较四条的大小。

7、葫芦：三张一样的带两张一样的。大家都是葫芦时，比较三个头的大小。

8、同花：全部牌均为一种花色，如果大家都是同花，比较最大的一张牌，如果大小还一样就比较这张牌的花色。

9、顺子：是顺子但不同花，如果大家都是顺子，比较最大的一张牌，如果大小还一样就比较这张牌的花色。

10、三条：有三张牌一样，如果大家都是三条，比较三条的大小。

11、二对：有两个对子，如果大家都是两对，比较大对子的大小，如果大对子也一样，比较小对子的大小，如果还是一样，比较大对子中的最大花色。

12、对子：有一个对子，如果大家都是对子，比较对子的大小，如果对子也一样，比较这个对子中的最大花色。

13、散牌：没有上面说的任何情况，比较最大一张牌的大小，如果大小一样，比较这张牌的花。扑克牌同一种花色的顺子，花色分为黑桃、红心、草花、方片，顺子是指按照牌大小顺序的一组牌(4、5、6、7、8、9、10、J、Q、K、1A、2、3、小戏、大戏），比如黑桃的 A 、 K 、 Q 、 J 、 10 。如均为同花顺，则比较最大一张牌的大小，如大小一样，则比较花色的大小。
