亚洲研究年会（AAS）数字人文圆桌讨论- Digital Technologies in Asian Studies Working Group

Dear Colleagues:

The rise of digital tools as an increasingly central methodology for humanistic scholarship has made it imperative on all generations of scholars to become 1) familiar with the extent and scope of new resources, tools and research directions and 2) to engage in robust critical reflection on how these new lenses change our view. At this year’s AAS in Washington, we will host a roundtable on Digital Humanities to discuss the best forum within the AAS conference for sharing research, training each other in new tools, and reflecting on new directions. We will form a working group to help facilitate these events at future conferences, and a plan for future activities at the conference. Please join us to help shape the direction of DH at AAS. Please note we would like a diverse group representing all regions of Asian Studies scholarship, so please share the news with your friends and colleagues.
