SG Li Baodong Meets with Malaysian Ambassador to China

On December 22,H. E. Mr. Li Baodong, Secretary General of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), met with H.E. Mr. Norman Bin Muhamad, Malaysia's new Ambassador to China, at the BFA Secretariat.

Secretary General Li welcomed Ambassador Norman and highlighted that Malaysia is one of the BFA initial countries. The Secretary General noted that Malaysian leaders have attended the BFA Annual Conferences on multiple occasions and the BFA appreciated Malaysia’s constructive role in the establishment and development of the Boao Forum for Asia. Secretary General Li stated that the BFA welcomes senior Malaysian government officials, entrepreneurs and representatives from all walks of life to participate extensively in the BFA events, to present more Asian perspectives and to build on global and regional governance.

Ambassador Norman assured that Malaysia will continue its support to, and engage more actively with the BFA on all levels.
