上周，句容碧桂园学校PYP小学部首次举办了“编程一小时”活动。此项活动主要针对3—5年级展开，同学们积极参与，踊跃报名。

Last week, JCGS PYP department held "One-hour Programming" activity for Grade 3-5. Students took an active part in the activity.

比赛要求参赛者运用图形化编程，在一小时内完成任意主题的编程作品。6月6日下午，在PYP的ICT教室里，孩子们专注认真地构思着自己的程序。

Participants are required to use graphical programming to finish the programming works of any themes within one hour. In the afternoon of June 6 , kids were thinking deeply about their own program work in the PYP ICT classroom.

经过1个小时紧张激烈的角逐，最终由G5C马司宸、G5B叶宇柯、G4B李智博、G4A邓博元同学斩获“最佳创世奖”，还有12名同学荣获“图灵之星奖”、“设计创新奖”、“极客优胜奖”，本次大赛获奖名单如下：

After the intense competition lasting for one hour, Ma Sichen from G5C, Ye Yuke from G5B, Li Zhibo from G4B and Deng Boyuan from G4A won the“Best Creation Award”, and twelve other students won the“Tuling Star Award”, “Design innovation award”, and “Geek prize”.Here is the winner list.

在我们的教育中，编程属于专业技能的范畴，但是随着工业4.0、即人工智能时代的到来，编程将成为人人必备的基本技能。不是只有程序员才学习编程，各行各业的从业者都将在自己的工作和生活中运用编程技能。身处时代洪流中，我们必须掌握最前沿的工具，才能在真实世界中，创造自己想要的世界。而代码就是我们在数字时代中创造无限可能的最佳工具。

Programming belongs to the area of expertise in our education, but with the coming of industrial 4.0 era, that is AI , programming will become a basic skill for everyone. Not only the programmer, but people from every area should use the programming skills in their own work and life. In the trend of times, only when we learn to master the cutting-age tools, can we live in the real world and create a world you want. And code is a tool for us to make everything possible in the digital age.

编程一小时

对于孩子来说，纯粹地学习编程难免枯燥乏味，然而图形化编程语言却非常适合7-15岁孩子学习。孩子们通过拖拽生动形象的积木式指令来进行编程，将编程的概念融入到游戏中，边学边玩，寓教于乐，从乐趣中融会贯通严肃的计算机科学思维。让孩子从知识、技能、到心智得到全面发展。

Leaning programming purely may be boring for kids, however, graphical programming language is suitable for kids from 7 to 15. Through dragging the vivid block instruction, they can blend the programming into the games, learning through lively activities and digesting the serious computer science thinking from joy. Kids’ knowledge, skills and mental will have been overall developed.

下一学年，我们PYP将继续举行 “编程一小时”活动。我们希望通过这样的形式让孩子接触最前沿的创造力教育，培养他们的计算思维，为他们未来所面临的人工智能世界做准备。

Next school year, our PYP department will keep on holding the “One-hour Programming”. We hope kids can get to the latest creative education in this way, their computational thinking skills can be cultivated to get ready for the AI world which they will face in the future.
