Description of the Feature
You can join a meeting on the mobile or PC client.
Prerequisites
log in to user: Free Edition, Membership, Business Edition, Enterprise Edition user.
Log in to device: Windows/macOS/Android/iOS.
Joining a Meeting
Windows/macOS
Method 1: Join a meeting through meeting ID
1. Open the Tencent Meeting client, click Join Meeting.
2. Enter the meeting ID and your name, set the options to turn on or off the camera and microphone, and click Join Meeting to successfully join the meeting.
3. If a join password is set, you need to enter the correct password, and then click Join to successfully join the meeting.
Method 2: Join a meeting through shared link
1. When you receive an invitation link, you can click the invitation link, verify your identity, and then click Join Meeting to directly enter the meeting.
2. If the meeting creator has created the meeting as a scheduled meeting, Add to My Meeting will be displayed below. You can click to add the meeting to your meeting list to avoid forgetting the meeting ID for future join.
Method 3: Join a meeting through WeChat sharing
1. When you receive a WeChat invitation, you can click on the invitation card, verify your identity, and then click Join Meeting to enter the meeting directly.
2. If the meeting creator has created the meeting as a scheduled meeting, Add to My Meeting will be displayed below. You can click to add the meeting to your meeting list to avoid forgetting the meeting ID for future join.
Method 4: Join a meeting through invitation poster/QR code
1. When you receive an invitation poster or QR code, you can click to recognize the poster or QR code, verify your identity, and then click Join Meeting to enter the meeting directly.
2. If the meeting creator has created the meeting as a scheduled meeting, Add to My Meeting will be displayed below. You can click to add the meeting to your meeting list to avoid forgetting the meeting ID for future join.
Method 5: Join a meeting through Mini Program QR Code
1. On the share invitation page, click Mini Program Membership.
2. Scan the Mini Program QR Code using WeChat or Tencent Meeting App. After authentication verification, you can directly enter the meeting.
Android/iOS
Method 1: Join a meeting through meeting ID
1. Open the Tencent Meeting App, click Join.
2. Enter the meeting ID and your name, set the options to turn on or off the camera and microphone, and click Join Meeting to successfully join the meeting.
3. If a join password is set, you need to enter the correct password, and then click Join to successfully join the meeting.

1. When you receive an invitation poster or QR Code, you can click the poster or QR Code, long press to recognize the QR Code, authenticate your identity, and then click Join to directly enter the meeting.
2. If the meeting creator has created the meeting as a scheduled meeting, Add to My Meeting will be displayed below. You can click to add the meeting to your meeting list to avoid forgetting the meeting ID for future join.
Method 5: Join a meeting through Mini Program QR Code
1. On the share invitation page, click Mini Program Membership.
2. Long press the image to recognize the Mini Program QR Code, authenticate your identity, and directly enter the meeting.
Notes
The maximum number of meetings in the join meeting dropdown is 10.
If you encounter issues when joining a meeting through the Mini Program, you can investigate as follows:
The current desktop client does not support joining meetings via Mini Program. Please use a mobile phone.
Update WeChat to the latest version and try again.
Open the Tencent Meeting Mini Program and manually enter the meeting number to see if you can join.
Please verify if long pressing other QR Codes presents the same issue. If so, it may be a problem with your phone or WeChat feature. It's recommended to check your mobile settings or consult WeChat staff for assistance.
The current version of Tencent Meeting supports joining meetings via QR Code. Open the meeting invitation shared to WeChat, scan or recognize the meeting QR Code to directly enter the meeting room.
