Diagnosis

CUAN_MKT_UIXDIS are SAPUI5/Fiori artifacts and not a BSP (Business Server Pages) application. To store data, SAPUI5 ABAP Repository uses the persistence and transport infrastructure originally designed for Business Server Pages.

System Response

The SE80 tool “Web Application Builder for BSP Applications” is no suitable for editing SAPUI5/ Fiori artifacts, since it is designed exclusively for the BSP programming model. Many of the properties and entities defined in this tool, such as event handlers or navigation, are not relevant in SAPUI5.

More specifically, the “Check” function in the tool checks the consistency of CUAN_MKT_UIXDIS with respect to the BSP programming model and contains an ABAP syntax check for the ABAP code saved in the BSP pages. The result of this check is ignored by SAPUI5/Fiori artifacts.

Procedure

To edit SAPUI5 ABAP Repository objects, use SAP Web IDE or the SAPUI5 tools in Eclipse.
