Background: There are twoproduction lines belonging different workshops to produce the same FG and FGhas only one material BOM but two routings and it is MTO scenario. And Semi-FGhas two diferent storage locations and it is MTS scenario. And backflushmaterial has its own supply area depending on work center in each produtionline.

Requirement: The receiving storage location of FG and issuing storage location as wellsemi-FG as well as backflush materialsupply area are different in each productionline.

4. Configurations

4.1 Define storeage location and supply area determination for MRPgroup with PSS 2-assembly and assign MRP group to FG 4801.

4.2 create supply area in PK05.

Each supply area is assigned to different storage locations in different workshops for backflush.

create different production versions for receiving storage locationof FG and issuing storage location of Semi-FG.

5. create different production versions for receiving storage locationof FG and issuing storage location of Semi-FG.

Receiving storage location 0001 for FG andissuing storage location SF01 for Semi_FG.

6. create sales orders and run MRP and convert plan orders toproduction orders in different production versions. It will assign differentreceiving storage location of FG and issuing storage location of Semi-FG andbackflush material in production order.

6.1 Production version 001:

Thereceiving storage location 0001 of FG 4801 is 0001.

The issuing storage location of Semi-FG 3643 is SF01 from production version 001. And The issuing storage location of backflush material 4810 is L001 from supply area L001 in work center 4130003.

6.2 Production version 002:

Thereceiving storage location 0001 of FG 4801 is 0002.

The issuing storagelocation of Semi-FG 3643 is SF02 from production version 002. And The issuingstorage location of backflush material 4810 is L002 from supply area L001 inwork center 4130004.

7. In order to understand the configurationPSS 2 in Define storeage location and supply area determination for MRP group,to simulate some extra siutations.

7.1 The halb material 4820 has the same issuingstorage location ZSD1 different Semi-FG and backflush material for twoproduction lines.
