This document mainly introduces the access management features of Interactive Whiteboard (TIW). For access management of other products, please refer to Products Supporting CAM.
TIW CAM essentially binds sub-accounts with policies, or grants policies to sub-accounts. Developers can directly use preset policies on the console for some simple authorization operations. For complex authorization operations, please refer to Custom Policies.
TIW currently provides the following preset policies:
Policy name | Policy Description |
QcloudTIWFullAccess | Full access to all TIW resources |
QcloudTIWReadOnlyAccess | Read-Only access to all TIW resources |
Example of Using Preset Policies
Creating a Sub-account with Interactive Whiteboard permissions
1. Access the user list in the CAM console as a Tencent Cloud main account, click Create User.
2. On the "Create User" page, select Custom creation, and go to the Create Sub-user page.

Follow the operation guide for CAM Custom Definition Create Sub-user to complete the steps before "Set User Permissions".
3. On the "Set User Permissions" page:
Search for and select the predefined strategy
QcloudTIWFullAccess.Click Next.
4. Under the "Review Info and Permissions" section, click Finish to complete creating the Sub-user. On the success page, download and keep the Sub-user's login link and security credentials, which include the following information:

5. With the above login URL and security credentials, the authorized sub-user will be able to perform all operations on TIW, including accessing the TIW console and calling TIW server-side APIs.
Grant interactive whiteboard permissions to an existing sub-account
1. Access the primary account of Tencent Cloud's CAM console user list, click on the sub-account you want to authorize.
2. Click the Add Policy option in the permissions section of the "user details" page. If the sub-account already has permissions, click Associated Policy.
3. Choose a policy from the list, search for and select the predefined strategy
QcloudTIWFullAccess. Follow the instructions on the page to complete the authorization process.Remove the sub-account's Interactive Whiteboard permissions
1. Access the primary account of Tencent Cloud CAM console's user list, click the subaccount you wish to deauthorize.
2. On the User Details page, find the predefined strategy
QcloudTIWFullAccess in the permissions section, and click Revoke on the right. Follow the instructions on the page to complete the deauthorization process.
