AuntMinnie: Vital Group touts product development strategy

Chinese medical imaging equipment developer Alltech Medical Systems is highlighting its latest product development strategy with partner Vital Group.

Alltech creates superconducting products for MRI devices. It will make use of Vital Group's material science, information technology, and AI resources to develop 7-tesla MRI and photon-counting CT systems, including the use of Vital's components and materials such as cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) detectors and lutetium yttrium orthosilicate scintillation crystals, it said.
