无人驾驶小巴在上海交大校园内试运行

据《中国日报》上周四报道，上海交通大学在徐汇校区进行了无人驾驶小巴试运行。

报道称，该辆八座巴士用于校园通勤的班车服务，是由上海交通大学智能车辆研究院与一家专门从事自动驾驶系统研究生产的企业联合研发的。

徐汇校区目前共设有四个站点。在车上，乘客可以使用触摸屏或与交互式语音系统通话来改变目的地。

此前，闵行校区曾就此进行了为期一个月的测试。

SinceMay2,thethreebuseshavecarriedmorethan1,000passengerssafelyatamaximumspeedof15kmperhour,accordingtoYangMing,directoroftheinstitute.

据该研究所所长杨明透露，自5月2日起，这三辆巴士已经以每小时15公里的最高速度安全运送了1000多名乘客。

"Weinstalledsensorsonthebusandusedaspecialpositioningandnavigationsystemdevelopedbytheinstitutethatcandetecteverythinghappeningaroundthebusandmanageitintelligentlytoavoidcollisions,"Yangtoldthenewspaper.

杨明向该报透露：“我们在巴士上安装了传感器，并使用了研究所开发的一种特殊的定位和导航系统，它可以探测巴士周围发生的一切，并对其进行智能管理，以避免碰撞。”

"It'sunlikedriverlessvehiclesthatrelyonareal-timesatellitepositioningsystem,whichcanbeaffectedbythesurroundingenvironmentandsevereweather.Thebusisalsoequippedwithacoresensorthatallowsittoworkproperlyevenonrainyandsnowydays,whenpeopleneedthevehiclemorethaningoodweather.Arechargeoffivetosixhourscanensureafulldayofoperation."

“这与无人驾驶汽车依赖实时卫星定位系统不同，后者会受到周围环境和恶劣天气的影响。这种巴士还配备了核心传感器，这使它即使在雨天和大雪天气，也能像天气好的时候正常工作，满足人们需求。而且充电五至六个小时就可确保一天的运作。”

Toensuresafetyduringthetrialrun,asecurityofficeronthebuscanpressastopbuttonifneeded,eventhoughheusuallydoesn'thavetodoanything,thenewspaperreported.Anemergencybuttonisalsoavailableontheexteriorofthebus.

据该报报道，为了确保试运行过程中的安全，巴士车上的保安人员可以按下停车按钮，平时他则无需做任何事情。此外，巴士的外部也有一个可以使用的紧急按钮。
