Abstract

Lie by facts: In the era of big data, data is a magic weapon to avoid questioning and exploring in researches. In this lecture, Prof. Chak WONG will tell you how to see through the data behind the dazzle.

讲者简介

王泽基教授—中国香港中文大学电子工程学学士和英国牛津大学经济学博士，中国香港中文大学（深圳）金融专业应用教授和中国香港中文大学金融科技教授，中国香港科技大学数学系教授，中国香港罗德学者。他现在为中国香港平安资管董事总经理，负责金融产品和人工智能投资程序开发。他历任法国兴业金融机构部亚洲主管，巴克莱银行投行结构部亚太区主管，瑞士银行结构产品部亚洲交易部主管，伦敦高盛执行董事和伦敦摩根士丹利数量分析师，在投资银行领域有丰富的知识与经验。

About the speaker

Dr. Chak Wong holds a B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering from CUHK and a D.Phil in Economics from the University of Oxford. Currently, he is a professor of practice in Finance at CUHK-Shenzhen, professor of practice in Fintech at CUHK, and professor of science practice in Mathematics department of HKUST.He is now serving as managing director for Hong Kong Ping An Asset management, responsible for financial products and AI program development for investment. Before that, he was head of Sovereign and Financial Institutions Asia of Societe Generale, head of structuring of IBD Asia of Barclay’s Capital, head of Asia structured products trading of UBS, executive director of Goldman Sachs International London and Quantitative analyst of Morgan Stanley, and Rhodes scholar of Hong Kong.
