What You Will Learn

目标：

The goal of this book is to give you a solid foundation（雄厚的基础）in the most important tools. Our model of the tools.

实现目标的第一步：You must import your data into R.

If you can’t get your data into R, you can’t do data science on it! -- 这里作者说的还是很绝对，哈哈哈哈

Once you have tidy data, a common first step is to transform it.一旦有了整洁的数据，通常的第一步就是转换它。

Once you have tidy data with the variables you need, there are two main engines of knowledge generation: visualization and modeling.  一旦你有了你需要的变量的整洁数据，就有两个主要的知识生成引擎:可视化和建模

自我觉得这是很有韵味的一句话

The last step of data science is communication, an absolutely critical part of any data analysis project. It doesn’t matter how well your models and visualization have led you to understand the data unless you can also communicate your results to others.数据科学的最后一步是沟通，这是任何数据分析项目的绝对关键部分。你的模型和可视化如何很好地引导你理解数据并不重要，除非你也能把你的结果传达给其他人。
