局域网助手 LanHelper 专门为高效高速的局域网管理而设计，是一个强大的网络管理、扫描、监控软件。提供有详细实时的日志给网络管理员有助于发现和解决问题。LanHelper集成有大量管理功能，同时不需要额外安装任何服务端软件。

LanHelper具有智能而快速的扫描引擎，IP扫描器和局域网扫描器能够扫描的信息包括IP地址、MAC地址、SNMP、NetBIOS、工作组名称、当前用户名称、操作系统类型、共享文件夹等。

不需要额外安装任何服务端程序，使用LanHelper可以使您的网络管理更加容易。“远程开机”可以给位于局域网、广域网或者因特网上的计算机发送唤醒命令而使其自动加电启动，支持计划和运行为服务。“远程关机”让系统管理员能够通过局域网关闭或者重新启动远程计算机，支持本地计划。 “远程执行”使您可以在远程机器统上执行命令，运行程序或者打开文件。而执行专门设计的“LanHelper集成命令”则可以轻松让远程机器完成诸如锁定鼠标键盘、获取系统信息，或者定时截取屏幕，杀进程等等各种操作。“刷新状态”可用于定时监视网络，查看计算机是否在线，以及检测计算机名或者IP地址是否有改动，当指定的事件发生时能够以电子邮件等方式通知管理员，或者执行开机关机等操作。“发送消息”功能可以用非常灵活的方式给用户、计算机、工作组或者整个局域网发送消息。“服务”可用来查看服务，停止或启动服务，安装或删除服务等。“会话”可以查看服务，或者将其中断。“打开文件”可以查看打开的文件，或者将其中断。“组”功能可以查看组、创建组，删除组等。“用户”功能可以查看用户，重置密码，禁用用户等。所有的管理功能均提供有批量操作的方法以提高速度。

由于应用了组功能和XML，机器数据的管理变的相当容易。一个机器可以加入一个或多个组，每个机器都可以有不同的安全凭证设置。扫描引擎收集的机器数据保存为XML文件，该文件可以随时装载，或者导入到其它程序如Microsoft Office Excel。支持导入已有的数据，或者导出数据为HTML、CSV文件。LanHelper还提供了HTML和XML浏览模式用于更详细和方便的查看机器数据。

注: LanHelper中所有提及“Windows 9x”、“Win9x”的地方指的是Windows 95/98/ME。
