Li Baodong Meets with Vice President of ICRC Gilles Carbonnier

On March 28, during the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference in Hainan, Li Baodong, Secretary General of the BFA, met with ICRC delegation led by Gilles Carbonnier, Vice President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

Both sides exchanged views on how to better leverage the important role of ICRC in the humanitarian field under the current international circumstances, jointly promote the implementation of the UN Agenda for Sustainable Development, and safeguard peace, stability and development of the region and beyond.
